Assistance Portal (ASAP) and issue to the customer.
In some engine versions it may be necessary to exchange the heat insulation.
An exchange of the "Lüfterzarge mit
Lüfter" and "Kühlmittelkühler / ausgelagerten Kühlmittelkühler" may be necessary.
If on the picture panel in the main group 17 there is a "Lüfterzarge mit Lüfter" and "Kühlmittelkühler / ausgelagerten
Kühlmittelkühler" designated to the
OE trailer tow hitch, then this part number has to be ordered and installed as well.
If the fan has to be exchanged, take the respective module on BTE 614813 and the power distribution box on BTE 614730 of the
EPC.
For vehicles with
National version Australia(L810ANo)
following HW characteristics are
present, the BDC is not to be replaced
for the trailer tow hitch retrofitting.
