New HUDs with altered hardware are available from 07/2013.
If the HUD is replaced from 07/13 in vehicles with an older software version than 07/2013, the newly fitted HUD does not function.
The fault pattern refers to a software fault in the instrument cluster.
Remedy:
Program instrument cluster, possible from ISTA 2.50.0.
