Print out the latest installation instructions from the Aftersales
Assistance Portal (ASAP) and issue to the customer.
It may be necessary to replace the right engine mount.
If a 'right engine mount' is reported in the diagram panel in main group 22 for the trailer tow hitch optional equipment, this part number must also be ordered and fitted.
If no part number is reported for the trailer tow hitch optional equipment, the 'right engine mount' does not have to be replaced.
On F31 and F33 model series a trailer tow hitch may not be retrofitted if 20" optional accessory wheels are fitted.
An exchange of the "Lüfterzarge mit
Lüfter" and "Kühlmittelkühler / ausgelagerten Kühlmittelkühler" may be necessary.
If on the picture panel in the main group 17 there is a "Lüfterzarge mit Lüfter" and "Kühlmittelkühler / ausgelagerten
Kühlmittelkühler" designated to the
OE trailer tow hitch, then this part number has to be ordered and installed as well.
