The product is oil-resistant and hardens in the absence of air (anaerobically) between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents the connections from working loose and leaking as a result of impacts and vibrations. Particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications such as securing stud bolts in engine housings, nuts on stud bolts in pump bodies, and other screw connections where high strength is called for.
